I hope you are enjoying today's Mercury stationary direct. Finally we can move out of review and into action, however be warned that this comes just as Saturn turns retrograde tomorrow, and we will be forced to cut back and be more resourceful.
I hope the retrograde Mercury has treated you well, it has been a strong one, particularly in the past week and a half, because the winged messenger has been conjunct Sedna. Today they are still within 2 degrees, so this conjunction will persist for another week and a half.
Sedna is always trying to get us onto the spiritual path and she represents the work our soul really needs to do in this life. This work is often deeply intertwined with our heritage, so if you have found yourself delving back into your life and retracing your decision processes in some area during this past week, this is soul work that you have been doing.
In these Sedna times, we are re-plotting our 'soul's path of destiny' over lifetimes, by encountering our spiritual destiny in the now. Exactly what that path is and what form it will take, will depend on our natal Sedna house position.
There are times when Sedna can bring transcendent crises into our lives where we have to let go of our old consciousness and transcend to a new one. If this side of Sedna has manifest for you, the key here is to be counterintuitive and let go early to avoid repeated pain. Sedna crises cannot be solved, they must be transcended.
Transcendence is scary because we don't know where it will lead, so we often prefer to hold on to the pain and suffering that we know. We tell ourselves we're doing the responsible thing, but that just leads to repeated pain. We have to let go of the suffering, and trust that we will transcend to a place where we can allow love and harmony and nurture abundance.
Love and harmony must be allowed in each of our lives, and that happens when we let go of the suffering. Abundance must be nurtured and we can only do that when we let go of suffering. This is Sedna at the highest level. So if the issues you've been wading through for the past week have seemed intractable, or like walking through quicksand, they are there to be transcended, not solved.
