Jenna mentioned her kidney condition in connection with something in her chart and a transit in the nineties I think, but I cannot recall what plaenet(s) or constallations. I noticed she has a Libra Sun at 20 degrees and interestingly, so do I, 1 degree off at 21*10'. I had a rare and deadly adrenal gland cancer on my right kidney, with symptoms starting in 1997. It's taken me deeper down into Hades and this nightmare has shaped my body, my psyche and my life in many ways since then. That painful Chironic road has led me onto the path from an architect to a therapist, and as with Jenna, nutrition is an integrated element. I would love to find out more about this. Where can it be seen in our charts and what transit were you referring to, Jenna? Or perhaps someone else remember what was said? (For me, illness showed up in 1997 and in 2003 the tumor was removed. I'm still dealing with the aftermath/effects of this cancer. Now my left kidney is hurting intensely at times so I guess the underlying issue is poked by some transit again. (My Sun is being squared by Pluto in this period, and by Saturn recently.) Insight and clarifications are most welcome! I enclose my chart if someone's curiosity is tickled. In the meantime I'll revisit Jennas chart and see what springs to mind.

P.S. Demetra George has a good recording with info on Asclepias and some of the other healing asteroids: https://demetra-george.com/shop/The-Asteroid-Lineage-of-Healers-p13334317. You can use the coupon code SHINE20 to save 20% through the weekend :-) .
Hi Anne,
I don’t know anything about medical astrology, so I’m just sharing what jumped out at me. I use quite a few extra objects in my charts, so I’m uploading a copy of your chart with them in it.
I noticed you have the asteroid Asclepias conjunct the Galactic Center, which Jupiter recently transited. You also have the asteroid Aesculapia opposite your Sun.
From Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asclepius:
Asclepius (/æsˈkliːpiəs/; Greek: Ἀσκληπιός Asklēpiós [asklɛːpiós]; Latin: Aesculapius) or Hepius[1] is a hero and god of medicine in ancient Greek religion and mythology. He is the son of Apollo and Coronis, or Arsinoe, or Apollo alone. Asclepius represents the healing aspect of the medical arts; his daughters are Hygieia ("Hygiene", the goddess cleanliness), Iaso (the goddess of recuperation from illness), Aceso (the goddess of the healing process), Aegle (the goddess of good health), and Panacea (the goddess of universal remedy).
And on Aesculapia: https://www.leahwhitehorse.com/2014/12/02/asteroid-aesculapia/:
Also, the Sabian Symbol for your Sun at the 22nd degree of Libra (opposite your asteroid Aesculapia) seems quite significant:
Part of Body: Renal veins
Sabian Symbol: A child giving birds a drink at a fountain.
The other major aspect I noticed is Neptune opposite your Moon, with Pluto trining your Moon and Sextiling Neptune. I imagine that contributes to you feeling the current Pluto transit to your Sun.
In 2003, your progressed Moon was approaching your progressed Venus, exactly conjunct your progressed Neptune. So that makes sense with what Jenna shared about Venus.
I color-code the objects in my charts to make them easier to spot.
Pink is for Minor Planets
Purple for Minor Planet candidates
Orange for Centaurs
Green for Asteroids
Blue for Stars
Black for Galactic stuff
So Asclepias shows up in Green in your 4th house, and Aesculapia is in Green in your 9th house.

Hi Anne. Sorry to hear what you've gone through. Afflictions to Venus in the natal chart are common with kidney issues. I have Venus at 24 Scorpio opposed by Saturn. Saturn/Venus issues are common although diabetic kidney issues are often Venus/Jupiter. The 1993 conjunction of Pluto to Venus was the trigger that led to losing my kidneys. It is interesting to me how many people consult me for kidney issues and they have just divorced or have some Venus issues in their lives. One man in a dialysis clinic stands out because he said it would be nice to have companionship but no woman could stand to be with him.
Most kidney conditions are not painful. Often it is the muscles in the back that give pain. If you had a tendency toward kidney stones, you'd probably know by now but an ultrasound can rule it out.
