Mars conjunct Salacia

So we’re all going through a revolutionary shift in consciousness in these next years. Over the next couple of months, Uranus will conjunct Sedna, our new planet of soul-growth, at one degree of Gemini, which will bring a soul level focus to this consciousness development. Salacia's Higher Love

Uranus' Gemini ingress will be assisted over the next couple of days by a conjunction between Mars and Salacia, our new planet of higher-love consciousness, at 13 degrees of Aries. This is one of the more beautiful combinations we can encounter in the heavens, because it is ultimately an invitation to discover what happens when our deepest desires are lifted into the realm of higher love.

We can look at Salacia as a higher octave of Venus and Mars combined. Where Venus loves with warmth and beauty, and Mars desires with fire and urgency, Salacia brings a quality of love that is deeper, stiller, and more enduring than either. She is the goddess of the calm sunlit sea, sparkling as if reflecting the stars above, and she feels things with an extraordinary depth while maintaining her own inner stillness and self-knowledge. The love she offers is of the transformative, spiritually empowering kind that we might genuinely call true love.

Salacia encourages in us a deep sensitivity and a genuine love of life and humanity. She gives us the power to foresee opportunities, to evaluate them honestly, and to find the right moment — in love, in creativity, in life — to embrace them with our whole heart. For her, everything is a process, and each part of the process prepares for the next. She has an extraordinary feel for timing: not forcing, not rushing, but being patient and ready, and then seizing the moment when it is truly ripe. She helps us handle deeply difficult and troubling matters with greater ease, and gives us the capacity to bring something genuinely new into the world.

With Mars now conjoining her energy, we have both the desire and the higher-love consciousness meeting at the same point in the sky. This is a moment when the raw fire of wanting can be transmuted into something much finer — when our instinct for pursuit can be guided by Salacia's exquisite sense of timing and depth. It is a conjunction that, worked with consciously, can move us from the purely personal experience of desire into the territory of true love: for another person, for our work, for life itself.

Pay attention to timing during this conjunction. Salacia's great wisdom is knowing when each step is ready — when the person or situation in front of you is genuinely open for what you are offering, and when patience will serve you better than action. Mars naturally wants to leap. She will help you know when leaping is exactly right and when waiting will take you further. Learning to feel that difference is one of the most valuable things this conjunction can teach.

For those already working consciously with their inner life, this Mars conjunct Salacia is a genuinely exciting and potentially profound transit. It is bringing the fire of action and desire into direct contact with the higher-love frequencies, and for those who have been doing the work of inner development, this can open something genuinely beautiful.

At this spiritual level, Salacia is no longer simply about intimate relationship in the personal sense — though it absolutely includes this. She begins to reveal herself as the deeper principle of love as a spiritual reality: not conditional, not possessive, not even precisely personal, but a quality of presence and connection that "embraces everyone and everything." This is love not as something we feel for certain people and withhold from others, but as an orientation toward life itself — a fundamental openness, warmth, and sensitivity that we bring to every encounter.

Mars conjoining this energy is calling us to act from that place. To let our desire be the desire for connection, for genuine intimacy in the broadest sense, for the kind of creative engagement with life that is only possible when we are truly open and truly present.
