And Mercury is also trine Salacia, the planet of higher-love consciousness, at 12 degrees of Aries.

In modern astrology Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, but Dane Rudhyar reminds us that the higher octaves act on the lower octaves to repolarize them. So the quintile means that your ideas and communications can be repolarized at a very deep level today by your intuition.

Everything is a process for Salacia. Processes are connected by the development that occurs along the way. Each part of the process prepares for the next part, so when you are in tune with your process, you know exactly what to do next. Projections interfere with this, and by identifying the processes at play you see the projections for what they are.

In any process there are key moments where your interaction can materially affect the outcome. You know that if you make your move too early or too late it won’t be as effective. Choosing the moment is more about allowing the flow of moments and seizing the opportunity when it arises. You have to be patient, yet ready to act. And you will know in your heart when it is the right time.

So, this is a good day to look at where you are in any of your processes right now. Something is developing out of the work you are doing. Identify the choices you have today to advance the process. Play out each one in your mind’s eye and choose the one that offers the most potential.

As you develop spiritually, Salacia enables you to remove the barriers to happiness in your life, and you learn to approach life with an easy sense of humour that helps you get through difficult times.
