I hope you are enjoying today’s Venus trine Neptune. This aligns the goddess of values with her higher octave, Neptune, the god of deeper meanings. And Venus is also square Haumea, within two degrees, bringing the highest planet of this triple octave also into active alignment.
Haumea connects us to the psychic unity existing across space and time, with the oneness of our existence, and she does this in each moment simply through the magic of being alive. We can look at her as the higher octave of Neptune, wheret he psychic opening of Neptune has the potential to blossom into a real connection with Haumea, a direct link to the soul level.
Haumea’s mythology teaches us that she is the goddess of fertility, birth, and rebirth, and that she possesses a magical power that ensures a never-ending food supply, which echoes the creativity of both lower octaves, Neptune and Venus.
It bears repeating that where the inner planets represent aspects of personality, the outer planets represent aspects of consciousness, and this means that how they manifest in our lives depends on our current level of consciousness.
You can’t take it with you, right?
When we are in inner planet consciousness, everything that is important is our feelings, our ideas and values, our agency, and the luck and material rewards that brings us. “You can’t take it with you, right?” And at this level, we are not conscious of the action of the outer planets like Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Haumea in our lives.
At this consciousness level, our connection with the oneness of being manifests in our lives unconsciously, and it can come with similar righteousness to Neptune but with a lot more psychic force. As a result, we may ride roughshod over everyone, or stick our neck out about something and get ourselves into trouble.
Or, more likely, we find no connection to the psychic source, so our life shrivels up,and we live in a sort of spiritual starvation—the starvation of life energy. It is this sense of meaninglessness that consumer society is here to exploit, but we know these are hollow joys with no connection to the soul level.
As we embark on the spiritual path to make a larger sense of the experiences of our personal lives, we realise the “you can’t take it with you” approach is a delusion.This search for more significant meaning is represented by Neptune, who teaches us about faith as a way of deepening consciousness and tunes us into the bigger picture.

When we are open to Neptunian energy, Haumea allows us to trust in the life process and deepen our connection to the psyche simply by being present within the magic of each moment. We all know those special moments, perhaps beside a mountain stream or in the arms of our love, when that connection to source is very present, and we feel alive.
As we deepen this contact with source, we can feel alive in each moment, constantly allowing an inflow of psychic life-energy to percolate through our lives, cleansing the old worn-out parts like an acid bath and acting as a rich compost for the new growth. We learn to facilitate a constant renewal in our own lives and the lives of those around us.
So with today's triple octave alignment, the goddess of values is inspired, and she's challenging us to deepen this contact with source.
