Mercury is trining Neptune today, as we enjoy the New Moon in Scorpio, so this is likely to be a time of inspired conversations and spiritual thoughts. Mercury will be trine Mars and sextile Pluto over the next couple of days, so it will be possible to turn these thoughts and conversations in action and empowerment.
The Scorpio New Moon is the start of a new monthly cycle in which we will be working with the deep and meaningful side of our lives, and if we don't embrace this consciously, we could experience emotional dramas, or power dynamics, which push us to look at our lives on this deeper level.
The New Moon is closely sextile our new planet of spirit consciousness, Quaoar, at 9 degrees Capricorn. This sextile will enable us to develop a practice this month to bring spirit into our physical lives. As I explained in my last newsletter on Quaoar, anything can be a practice to enrich our lives with spirit, so the more you can make the space for your spiritual practise, the better things will go.Â
Quaoar sang and danced the world into existence in myth, so the planet represents the song and dance we do in our lives, and the song and dance we tell ourselves about our lives. This song and dance is a spirit-story which underpins who we are. We tell ourselves and everyone who will listen about our drama, and we create and develop it through those interactions.
So the sextile with the New Moon means that we might be able write our personal spirit-story in some new deeper way this month. By embracing our spiritual practice, we may be able to sing and dance our way through the month in a new way, transforming our lives in the process.Â
We need to embrace our spirit consciousness for this new spirit-story to be successful. If we're not present in the moment and enabling spirit, we will likely snarl ourselves up in chaos through our lack of insight and thereby turn our lives into a soap opera. When our spirit-story is a soap opera, the drama is just as real, but without the connection to spirit that gives it meaning. Instead, it becomes just a series of moments which do not build or work together to create something greater.
As we embrace spirit consciousness, we learn to see life as a dynamic meditation, to see our whole life as a spiritual practice. We see that everything is valuable and that it can all be woven into the song and dance we are doing which makes sense out of the world for us, and brings spirit into our lives.
At this level our connection to spirit enriches our lives, allowing us to be present in each moment, and revealing the possibilities available to create our reality. We begin to understand how we can push the limit of what is possible by working in harmony with others to create a richer spirit-story. We see how each creative act adds value to the whole and works together to reinforce our creative fervour.
So luck will be with you this month if you stay open to the opportunities and have the presence of mind to act on them straight away. The more you can make the space for your spiritual practise, the better things will go, and this will enable you to write your personal spirit-story in some new deeper way.
Quaoar Early Scholarship
If you want to fill your life with spirit and join a friendly international community to develop your spirit story, come to our Quaoar course which is starting in the new year. I have a small number of Early Scholarships to encourage you. This will be the only time these best-value scholarships will be offered.
Mars is due to turn retrograde in a few weeks, and he will remain retrograde through the first months of next year, so grab this opportunity to put in place a practice to bring spirit into your life during the time of the more personal work of the retrograde Mars.
And remember, this course has our new structure with a choice of two Zoom times, giving the British and Europeans a new morning option which is proving very popular. This new Zoom time also gives those in Perth and Singapore an afternoon option, and other Aussies & Kiwis an early evening option.Â
Here at the Uni, we're into our last course bracket of the year with a record 92 students participating across three courses, with another 82 on the Community Program, and 16 on the Graduate Gathering.
Join us if you can on Quaoar, and thanks for your work embracing these new aspects of consciousness.Â
Love and laughter
